What is this fanzine about?
This is an unofficial and fanmade project that is dedicated to creating fan art and fan written work of the currently released 27 movies of the franchise Detective Conan as of 2024. Each contributor will be assigned a movie to create a piece for.

Will there be a physical copy of this fanzine?
This fanzine will only include a free-to-download digital-only PDF and there will be no physical copy.

What is the minimum age for contributors?
Contributors are required to be at least 15 years old by the time their application gets processed.

Will there be any NSFW aspects in the fanzine?
This fanzine is strictly SFW and no NSFW aspects will be added.

What do I include in my portfolio?
For artists:
We will require applicants to provide us with atleast 3 completed art work. We will ask you to include at least one illustration with a complete background, at least one fullbody illustration, and at least one illustration of Conan Edogawa, as he has appeared in all the movies and will likely be the focus of the illustrations in this fanzine.
Please do not include the following in your portfolio:
• Old illustrations. Please only provide us with recent illustrations no older than one year so we can have an idea of how your fanzine piece will look like.
• Uncompleted illustrations (WIPs). Please only provide us with completed illustrations.
For writers:
We will require applicants to provide us with atleast 3 completed written work. We will ask you to include at least one written work of Detective Conan. Writers can decide to provide prose or poetry. Prose is required to be up to 3,000 words while poetry is required to be 1-2 pages long, although that is not the minimum.

Is there anything I have to include in my piece?
No, not really! Artists' creativity is encouraged when creating their piece for this fanzine. Aside from a few topics that will be discussed further and in more detail after the Contributor Applications end, contributors are free to do whatever they please with their piece as long as it fits the theme they are assigned.

How will contributors communicate?
Contributors will communicate through a Discord server. Therefore, all contributors must have a Discord account, or be willing to create one for the fanzine.

How many contributors will be accepted?
Since this fanzine is focused on the 27 movies, we plan to accept 26 artists (as a guest artist has already been reached out to) and 27 writers. Although, this is tenative and subject to change depending on how many applications we receive.
